MEET TREVOR

A dream is
becoming real.

Once unable to continue school, Trevor returned to the classroom with support from Love in Action. His hard work has carried him towards a new dream: university.

Walk through Trevor’s story

Trevor’s education was interrupted while he helped care for his brother. With support to return to school, he began rebuilding his educational journey, one step at a time.

He went on to finish his UCE examinations as the second-best student in his school. He achieved a Grade 1, a milestone that reflects his determination and hard work. His dream is to study engineering at university.

The next chapter

Completing secondary school brings registration fees, examination costs, and decisions about what comes next. Continued encouragement and guidance can help Trevor prepare for university applications and scholarship opportunities.

KISENGE KAPYANGA

Learning begins.
Hope grows.

In Kisenge, children have begun learning under a tree. There is a teacher, a place to gather, and a community ready to see what comes next.

Get to know the community

Over time, Love in Action has visited families in Kisenge, sharing food, clothes, and encouragement. Those relationships helped reveal a shared priority: a chance for children to learn.

Kisenge Kapyanga is in eastern Uganda. With land acquired, lessons have begun: a teacher, eager children, and parents glad to see learning under way.

A classroom is the next step

We are working to help the community with a simple structure where children can study with shelter from the sun and rain. The space is also intended to give families a place to gather.
